What Does This Mean?

We, as Lutherans, are small “c” catholic, that is we are part of the holy catholic Church (“catholic” means “universal”).  We are small “o” orthodox.  In other words, what we believe, teach and confess is what the Church has from the beginning always believed and taught.  And we are capital “E” evangelical.  That is, we proclaim the “Evangel” or “Good News” of the Gospel of Jesus Christ—forgiveness and eternal life only through His life, death and resurrection.

Directions to

Lord of Life

 From East (Hwy 1) – As you come into Kamloops, turn left at the second set of Traffic Lights (Tanager Road)  Almost immediately turn right.  Take the first left onto Sunset Drive.  Church will be on your left.  (If you are passing car dealerships, you missed your turn off.)

 From North (Hwy 5) – Take second exit (Hwy 1 East to Vernon, Banff) after crossing the S. Thompson Bridge.  Stay in the right lane – you will make two complete circles to get onto Hwy 1 E.  Follow directions below from Hwy 5 exit forward.

 From West (Fraser Canyon or Coquahalla) – Stay on Trans Canada (Hwy 1) down the hill through Kamloops, past the Hwy 5 North exit.  Continue east bound past restaurants, Tim Hortons, Coopers, Convergys, Shoppers Drug Mart to River Road.  Turn right.  (If you are passing car dealerships, you missed your turn off.) Take the second left onto Sunset Drive.  Caution—the second left is almost immediately after the first.  Church is on your right hand side about 1/2 kilometer along Sunset.
